Egyptian star Mohamed Salah contract negotiation situation with Liverpool has been the transfer market hot topic of the season, in light of the ambiguity surrounding his future with the club. Salah's current contract with Liverpool expires next summer, and many reports have stated in the past hours that the Egyptian star is on the verge of signing a new two-year contract.
The Egyptian international published a photo via the "Stories" feature on his Instagram account, of an incense bottle from which white smoke comes out, which sparked questions from his followers. Meanwhile, British media commented on the post, saying that white smoke often represents reaching an agreement, indicating the possibility of the Pharaoh approaching extending his contract with the "Reds" and thus staying at "Anfield" stadium for other seasons to come.
One of the commentators wrote on Salah's picture: "Salah posted a picture of white smoke, which means reaching an agreement."
