Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti announced the squad that will participate in the Spanish Super Cup, which will start today, Wednesday, in Saudi Arabia. Ancelotti's list featured the return of Austrian defender David Alaba after recovering from injury. Alaba suffered a cruciate ligament injury in December 2023, and has been absent from the stadiums since then.
Real Madrid's list for the Spanish Super Cup is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Thibaut Courtois, Lunin, Fran Gonzalez
Defense: Alaba, Lucas Vazquez, Garcia, Rudiger, Mendy, Asensio, Lorenzo, Diego Aguado
Midfield: Jude Bellingham, Camavinga, Federico Valverde, Luka Modric, Tchouameni, Arda Guler, Dani Ceballos
Attack: Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappe, Rodrygo Goes, Endrick, Brahim Diaz, Yandez.
Real Madrid will play against Real Mallorca, Thursday, in the semi-finals of the Spanish Super Cup, and the winner will advance to the final to face the winner of the Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao match, which will be held on Wednesday.
