Manchester United won a dramatic penalty shoot out to knock out Arsenal from the FA Cup, after the match which was held at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, in the third round of the FA Cup ended 1-1. United owe their victory to an exceptional performance by Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayindir, who became the only Premier League goalkeeper in the FA Cup (since 2013) to save a penalty in both normal time and a penalty shootout in the same game.

However, the match result was over shadowed by the brawl that broke out during the match.

In the 69th minute of the match, the "Red Devils" defender, Harry Maguire, obstructed the "Gunners" striker, Kai Havertz, inside the box, which resulted in a penalty kick being awarded in favor of the latter.

Then, the players of the two clubs exchanged words before they clashed with hands, as Gabriel Magalhaes was seen pushing Maguire, while Manuel Ugarte headbutted Havertz. The refereeing team, led by Andrew Madley, intervened to break up the brawl, and Harry Maguire, Gabriel and Havertz each received a yellow card.

Arsenal midfielder, Martin Odegaard, failed to convert the penalty kick, after the opposing goalkeeper, Altay Bayindir, saved it.
