Barcelona continues its dominance of women's football CRUSHING Real Madrid 5-0

Real Madrid's women suffered a crushing defeat against traditional rivals Barcelona in the match that brought the two teams together yesterday, Sunday, at the "Butarque Municipal" stadium in the Spanish Super Cup competition. Barcelona won the Spanish Women's Super Cup title for the fourth time in a row after its crushing victory over Real Madrid 5-0 in the final match.

Norwegian Caroline Graham Hansen scored the first goal in the 31st minute, then Polish Eva Bayor added two goals in the 37th and 45+4 minutes. In the second half, Patricia Guigaro scored the fourth goal in the 62nd minute, before Alexia Putellas, the two-time Ballon d'Or winner, completed the five-goal haul five minutes before the end. The Catalan team won the title for the fifth time in its history and the fourth in a row, confirming its dominance over the tournament that "Los Blancos" have never won.

Barcelona Women lead the Spanish League this season with 61 points, after the team won 20 matches and drew one match without suffering any defeat. The Catalan team also has the strongest attack and defense lines in the competition, scoring 92 goals, while conceding only 5 goals.
