Real Madrid sent a special message to its former Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo on the occasion of his 40th birthday today, Wednesday, February 5.
The Spanish giant posted through its account on the "X" platform: "Dear Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.. We would like to send you warm congratulations on the occasion of your 40th birthday." The post added: "All Real Madrid fans are proud of you as a legend and what you represent in our history. Happy day with your family and loved ones."
Ronaldo, who turned 40, played for Real Madrid between 2009 and 2018, and contributed to achieving many titles, most notably the Champions League 4 times, and represented it in 438 matches, during which he scored 450 goals and provided 131 assists.
The Portuguese star also won the Club World Cup 3 times with the Madrid giant, in addition to the European Super Cup 3 times, the Spanish League twice, the King's Cup twice, and the Spanish Super Cup twice. Ronaldo also defended the colors of Manchester United, Sporting Lisbon, and Juventus.
