Press reports revealed new developments regarding the renewal of the contracts of Liverpool stars Mohamed Salah Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander Arnold with the club. Mohamed Salah's contract, the star of Liverpool, ends at the end of the current season, and he is not the only player in the ranks of Liverpool whose contract ends this summer, as his teammates, Dutch Virgil van Dijk and English Trent Alexander Arnold, will also see their current contracts expire come summer time.
According to the "Anfield Edition" website, it was revealed that the "Reds" have concluded their agreement with Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk to renew and that the duo have already signed the contracts.
The website stated via its account on "X" : "We know that Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk have signed new contracts to extend their stay in Liverpool...Liverpool, which is still silent about the situation, wants to avoid shedding light on Trent Alexander Arnold, who has not yet agreed to a new deal."
It is worth noting that Van Dijk will be 34 next summer, while Salah will be 33, but Alexander-Arnold is still 26.
Mohamed Salah is performing at a distinguished level with Liverpool this season, as he tops the English Premier League scorers list with 21 goals, and he has also made 13 goals for his teammates, which puts him on the list of the best players in the world.
