Liverpool hosts Tottenham Hotspur this evening, Thursday, at Anfield Stadium in the second leg of the English League Cup semi-finals. Liverpool tops the English Premier League table with 56 points from 23 matches, winning 17, drawing 5 and losing only one.

Tottenham are in 14th place with 27 points from 24 matches, winning 8, drawing 3 and losing 13. The first leg between the two teams ended with Tottenham winning 1-0 in the match that was held at Tottenham's new stadium.
