Barcelona player Pedri Gonzalez revealed the details of his conversation with the referee during the match between his team and Sevilla, which ended with the Blaugrana winning 4-1 in the Spanish League. The Barcelona star launched an attack on refereeing in the Spanish League, after his teammate Fermin Lopez was sent off in the match against Sevilla yesterday evening, Sunday, in the "La Liga" competitions, which ended with Barcelona winning 4-1.

Fermín came on at the start of the second half instead of Gavi with the two teams were tied 1-1. In the 62nd minute, he was sent off for a tackle on Gabriel and  was shown a yellow card by referee Alejandro Hernández, however, after 'VAR' interfered the referee went to review the footage on the screen and decided to cancel the yellow card and give him a straight red card.

Pedri said in statements reported by the newspaper "AS": "I spoke to the referee and reminded him that I was subjected to very harsh tackles in previous matches and no red cards were shown. It is incomprehensible that there is no equality in the decisions in all matches."

He added: "But if the video assistant referee decides that, we have to accept it, but as long as they gave the red in that one, they must continue with the same standard always."

Barcelona are third in the Spanish League standings with 48 points, and will play their next round against Rayo Vallecano on February 17.
