Barcelona stripped arch rivals Real Madrid of the top spot in the La Liga table, after its hard-fought victory over guest Rayo Vallecano with a goal by Polish Robert Lewandowski. Barcelona claimed the valuable 3 points from Rayo Vallecano with an unanswered goal after an exciting match and somewhat controversial match that took place on Monday evening at the "Luis Companys" stadium at the conclusion of the twenty-fourth round of the Spanish League.
