Barcelona is seeking to bolster its attacking line in the coming period by targeting a new signing from Liverpool. According to the Spanish newspaper "Sport," Barcelona has expressed interest in signing Colombian star Luis Diaz, the Liverpool striker.
The 28-year-old player is considered an ideal option to meet the team's offensive needs.
Additional reports indicate that Barcelona's sporting director, Deco, has made informal contact with the player's agents to assess the possibility of signing him during the upcoming transfer window. He also stated that the deal will be worth no less than €70-75 million, requiring Barcelona to provide at least €30 million in financial space to complete the deal.
It is worth noting that Diaz has always dreamed of wearing the Barcelona shirt since childhood, as his father previously revealed.
Barcelona is competing for the Champions League title after reaching the quarter-finals, as well as the Spanish League and the Copa del Rey.
