Liverpool will meet Newcastle United this Sunday evening at Wembley Stadium in the 2025 EFL Cup final. Liverpool qualified for the EFL Cup final after eliminating Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 on aggregate, while Newcastle United advanced by defeating Arsenal 4-0 on aggregate.
The two teams have met in 64 EFL Cup matches, with Liverpool winning 38, Newcastle winning 13, and 13 matches ending in draws.
Liverpool is seeking to make amends to its fans after their painful exit from the Champions League last Tuesday in the round of 16 at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain.
