Wolves striker Matheus Cunha hints at potential exit, Arsenal monitor Sporting forward Viktor Gyökeres, and Manchester City set sights on AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders.

Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha, 25, has revealed he turned down offers to leave Wolves during the winter transfer window but has informed the club of his ambition to "take the next step" in his career, expressing a desire to "compete for titles and major honors."

Arsenal could emerge as a potential destination for Cunha, who has a £62.5m release clause, with new Gunners sporting director Andrea Berta having previously played a key role in bringing the striker to Atlético Madrid in 2021.

Berta is also a long-term admirer of Sporting CP forward Viktor Gyökeres, and the 26-year-old Sweden international remains a leading candidate as Arsenal look to strengthen their attacking options.

Manchester City have identified AC Milan’s Dutch midfielder Tijjani Reijnders as a summer target, though the 26-year-old recently signed a new contract that does not include a release clause.

Ajax are considering a move to bring back Manchester United’s Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen, 33, who began his professional career in Amsterdam, once his contract expires this summer.

Everton are preparing a surprise £25m bid for Liverpool’s Scottish winger Ben Doak, 19, who is currently on loan at Middlesbrough.

Manchester United could have an edge in the pursuit of Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike, as the 22-year-old French forward is a lifelong supporter of the Old Trafford club.

Ipswich Town chairman Mark Ashton has declined to confirm whether striker Liam Delap has a release clause in his contract but assured that the club is "well protected" regarding the 22-year-old England U21 international’s future.

Bayern Munich are not expected to extend Thomas Müller’s contract beyond the summer, with the 35-year-old German forward potentially heading to Major League Soccer amid interest from U.S. clubs.

Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes has confirmed that manager Xabi Alonso has committed to staying with the club, despite ongoing links to Real Madrid.
