Manchester City officially announced on Tuesday that Egyptian star Omar Marmoush has been named Player of the Month for March, following his outstanding performances with the team in recent matches. This is the player's second award with the club since joining during the last winter transfer window, having previously won the Goal of the Month award for his stunning strike against Brighton.
Marmoush beat fellow stars such as Norwegian Erling Haaland and Nico O'Reilly to win the award. The Egyptian player participated in two Premier League matches in March, scoring one goal and assisting another. He also came on as a substitute in the FA Cup against Bournemouth, scoring a decisive goal in the 2-1 win that sent the team to the semi-finals.
Marmoush, 26, made 13 appearances for Manchester City in various competitions during the 2024-25 season, scoring six goals and providing one assist.
Omar Marmoush's contract with Manchester City runs until June 30, 2029, meaning he remains tied to the club for four additional seasons.
