Spanish coach Xabi Alonso announced Real Madrid's squad for Friday's match against Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg, in the third and final round of the 2025 Club World Cup group stage.
The 23-player squad includes Brazilian duo Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes, as well as Moroccan Brahim Diaz.
Alonso, on the other hand, excluded French star Kylian Mbappé from the squad, despite his recovery from the illness that kept him out of the team's matches against Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal and Mexico's Pachuca in the first and second rounds.
Real Madrid will also be without defender Raúl Asensio for the match against Salzburg due to suspension following his red card in the previous match against Pachuca.
Real Madrid leads Group H with four points, ahead of Salzburg only on goal difference, while Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal are third with two points, and Pachuca are bottom with no points.
Real Madrid only needs a draw against Salzburg to secure qualification to the round of 16.
