Bayern launch bid for Diaz, Forest denied over Wissa, Liverpool eye Ekitike move
Bayern Munich have submitted a €52m (£44.7m) offer for Liverpool winger Luis Diaz, with the 28-year-old Colombia international now the subject of serious interest from the German champions.
Nottingham Forest have seen another bid rejected for Brentford forward Yoane Wissa. The latest offer for the 28-year-old Congo international is reportedly below the £25m proposal they made in January, well short of Brentford’s £50m valuation.
Liverpool are preparing to enter talks with Eintracht Frankfurt over French striker Hugo Ekitike, 23. However, the move is expected to hinge on the potential departure of Uruguay forward Darwin Nunez, 26. The Reds have been monitoring Ekitike’s progress, though Newcastle’s Alexander Isak, 25, also remains on their radar.
Arsenal’s pursuit of Sweden striker Viktor Gyokeres, 27, has hit a stumbling block, with the Gunners having had no contact with Sporting Lisbon for the past three days—raising concerns over the potential collapse of the deal.
Real Madrid are open to allowing Brazil winger Rodrygo to leave this summer, but the decision will ultimately rest with the 24-year-old, who is keen to remain in Europe.
