Manchester United goalkeeper André Onana has been ruled out of the team's pre-season tour of the United States due to a hamstring injury. Reports indicate that the 29-year-old Cameroon international has responded well to initial treatment and will join his teammates on the plane to America later this month. However, he will focus on recovering from the injury and will not feature in a series of friendlies this summer.
Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayındır, 27, is expected to start the team's pre-season preparations in the United States, which begin with a match against Leeds on July 19, before traveling to the United States to face West Ham, Bournemouth, and Everton in a friendly tournament between July 27 and August 3.
Manchester United's final friendly match will be against Italian side Fiorentina at Old Trafford on August 9, before the team begins its Premier League campaign against Arsenal on August 17.
