Press reports revealed that Barcelona has expressed interest in signing Brazilian striker Rodrygo Goes from Real Madrid, indicating that the Catalan club has already contacted intermediaries to inform them of this interest.
According to Spanish newspapers there are currently no ongoing negotiations, but Barcelona has expressed its willingness to initiate talks if the player decides to leave Real Madrid.
Reports claim that Rodrygo is a favorite within Barcelona, especially since he is not considered an "aggressive" player by the Catalan club, unlike his teammate Vinicius Junior.
In response to the reports, the player's press office commented, saying: "Rodrigo is currently on vacation in Brazil and remains a Real Madrid player under a contract that runs until June 2028. The rumours circulating about his transfer are nothing more than media speculation."
