Manchester City set valuation for McAtee, Leeds look to fund Muniz move, and Manchester United eye two more additions

Manchester City have placed a £35 million valuation on 22-year-old midfielder James McAtee, amid interest from West Ham United and Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.

Real Madrid remain patient in their pursuit of Liverpool and France centre-back Ibrahima Konaté, 26, and are prepared to wait until his contract expires next summer—though a low-cost bid in the current window has not been ruled out.

A lucrative nine-figure offer from Saudi Arabia for Real Madrid and Brazil star Vinícius Júnior, 25, has been withdrawn, but could resurface in 2026.

Madrid are also closely monitoring Arsenal and France defender William Saliba, 24, as part of their long-term defensive plans.

Leeds United are encouraging a bidding war for 21-year-old Spanish forward Mateo Joseph, aiming to generate funds to pursue Fulham and Brazil striker Rodrigo Muniz, 24.

At Manchester United, manager Rúben Amorim is targeting two further additions before the window closes.

United have submitted a formal bid for Sporting striker Viktor Gyökeres, 27, and are hoping to beat Arsenal to his signature.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly willing to meet Bournemouth’s valuation for Ukraine defender Illia Zabarnyi, 22.

Nottingham Forest are leading the chase to sign Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey, 24, as they seek to strengthen their midfield.

Sunderland have withdrawn from a £17.5 million deal for Sassuolo’s French forward Armand Laurienté, 26.

PSV Eindhoven are poised to win the race for 18-year-old Stoke City and England U18 midfielder Sol Sidibe, fending off interest from Lille and an unnamed Premier League club.

Huddersfield Town are close to finalising a £1.2 million move for Birmingham City striker Alfie May, 32, who was previously linked with the Terriers prior to his transfer to St Andrew’s.

West Ham United have identified Leicester City goalkeeper Mads Hermansen, 25, as a potential target, while the Foxes are considering veteran free agent Asmir Begović, 38, as a replacement.

Josh Windass is expected to complete a medical at Wrexham on Monday, following his release from Sheffield Wednesday. The 31-year-old forward had also been a target for Coventry City and Norwich City.

Luton Town goalkeeper Jack Walton, 27, is in talks to join Preston North End after the Hatters brought in Josh Keeley from Tottenham.

Lastly, Sunderland’s highly rated 19-year-old goalkeeper Matty Young could be set for a return to Salford City on loan, following a successful spell with the League Two side last season.
