London City Lionesses are in negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain over the transfer of France international Grace Geyoro, in what could become one of the most significant signings of the Women’s Super League transfer window.
Geyoro, 28, has spent her entire career at PSG after progressing through their academy, establishing herself as a cornerstone of the French side’s midfield. With 103 international caps and extensive Champions League experience, she is widely regarded as one of Europe’s most accomplished midfielders.
At Euro 2025, she underlined her importance to France by starting three of their four matches and scoring twice as Les Bleues reached the quarter-finals. Reports suggest Geyoro is eager to secure a move and has stepped back from training with PSG while discussions continue.
For London City, the pursuit of Geyoro represents both ambition and intent. Newly promoted to the WSL, they are the first club in the league without a men’s team affiliation. Backed by American businesswoman Michele Kang, the Lionesses have the financial power to meet PSG’s demands and the vision to position themselves among the league’s elite.
The potential arrival of Geyoro would follow a summer of high-profile recruitment that has already seen England forward Nikita Parris, Dutch international Danielle van de Donk, and former Manchester United captain Katie Zelem join the squad.
Should the deal be completed, it would not only reshape London City’s immediate prospects but also signal a broader shift in the WSL’s competitive landscape, underlining the league’s growing ability to attract world-class talent at its peak.
