Manchester United remain open to selling goalkeeper Andre Onana, while Bayer Leverkusen and Fenerbahce are weighing up Ange Postecoglou as a managerial option, and Arsenal’s valuation of Gabriel Martinelli has discouraged potential buyers.

Manchester United are prepared to sanction the departure of Cameroon international Andre Onana, 29, with Saudi Pro League clubs still able to do business before their transfer window closes.

Midfielder Casemiro, 33, opted to remain at Old Trafford despite strong interest from Al-Nassr, believing regular football in Europe will strengthen his chances of featuring at the 2026 World Cup.

Chelsea trio Raheem Sterling, 30, Axel Disasi, 27, and Andrey Santos, 21, continue to attract interest from Saudi Arabia, and could move before the deadline.

Former Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has emerged as a contender for the Bayer Leverkusen role following the dismissal of Erik ten Hag. The 60-year-old is also under consideration at Fenerbahce, who recently parted ways with José Mourinho. Postecoglou guided Spurs to Europa League success last season before being sacked.

Tottenham are expected to revisit talks with Manchester City in January over Netherlands defender Nathan Aké, 30, after negotiations stalled earlier in the summer.

Brazil winger Antony, 25, revealed he held talks with Bayern Munich before choosing a permanent switch from Manchester United to Real Betis, where he previously spent a loan spell.

Arsenal were willing to sell Gabriel Martinelli, 24, at the beginning of the window, but their £60m valuation exceeded the £40m mark most suitors placed on the Brazilian forward.

Juventus had been pursuing Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani, 26, for months, but Tottenham moved quickly to secure his signature instead.

Manchester United remain keen to reinforce their midfield, though sporting director Jason Wilcox does not view it as the club’s immediate priority.

Arsenal and Barcelona are both tracking Nottingham Forest defender Murillo, 23, whose performances have drawn growing attention in Europe.

Forest forward Jota Silva, 26, could yet leave for Saudi Arabia or Turkey after a collapsed deadline-day move to Sporting. Saudi Pro League side Neom SC are particularly keen on the Portugal international. Forest, who recruited 13 players over the summer, are expected to listen to offers as they look to balance the books.

Former Wolves manager Gary O’Neil is in no rush to return to the dugout, despite holding talks with several clubs since leaving Molineux, and is waiting for the right opportunity to re-enter management.
