FIFA has revealed the initial steps for ticket sales for the 2026 World Cup, which will be based on a dynamic pricing system driven by demand.
Prices for individual match tickets currently range from $60 for first-round group stage matches to $6,710 for a seat in the final, and these prices are likely to change in the coming months. Fans with Visa cards and registered FIFA IDs, which can be easily obtained on the FIFA website, will be able to enter a pre-sale draw between September 10 and 19.
The selection of the qualifiers through this draw will begin on September 29, and tickets will be available for purchase starting October 1.
A maximum of four tickets per person per match will be set, with no more than 40 tickets being purchased throughout the tournament.
The second phase is expected to include another registration period from October 27 to 31, with tickets available for purchase from mid-November to early December.
The third phase will begin after the tournament draw and the first-round match schedule are determined on December 5.
Fans will then have another opportunity to purchase the remaining tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis closer to the tournament's kickoff.
The 2026 World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19, with 48 teams participating.
Thirteen teams have already qualified for the tournament, which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
