Tunisia Qualifies for the 2026 World Cup with a Last-Minute Goal (Video)

Tunisia qualified for the 2026 World Cup after defeating Equatorial Guinea 1-0 in the eighth round of the qualifiers on Monday. Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane scored the only "golden" goal in stoppage time to secure the qualification.

Tunisia's tally now stands at 22 points, securing a place in the World Cup finals, which will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The Carthage Eagles have qualified for the World Cup finals for the third consecutive time and the seventh time in their history, having participated in the 1978, 1998, 2002, 2006, 2018, and 2022 editions.
