Reguilon in Talks with Inter Miami, Chelsea Eye Semenyo, Arsenal Scout Yildiz, and Ward-Prowse Seeks Exit
Former Tottenham and Manchester United left-back Sergio Reguilon is in discussions over a potential move to Inter Miami, where he could link up with Lionel Messi in Major League Soccer (MLS), following the expiry of his contract with Spurs this summer.
Chelsea have decided not to pursue Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi, 25, despite the England international being set to become a free agent next summer.
However, the Blues are keen on Bournemouth striker Antoine Semenyo and are prepared to offer around £78m for the 25-year-old Ghana international. The London club also saw a £58m bid rejected by Juventus for Kenan Yildiz, the highly rated 20-year-old Turkish forward.
Arsenal remain determined in their pursuit of Yildiz, having sent scouts to monitor him during Juventus’ Serie A clash with AC Milan on Sunday.
Out-of-favour Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee, 24, is open to remaining in the Premier League should he leave Old Trafford, with Everton and West Ham among the clubs interested in his signature.
Meanwhile, James Ward-Prowse, 30, is preparing for a permanent departure from West Ham in the January transfer window, having fallen down the pecking order under new manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
Uruguay defender Ronald Araujo, 26, turned down offers from Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, and Juventus to stay at Barcelona during the summer. However, the Catalan club are now considering selling him in January and have set an asking price of around £35m.
West Ham are also exploring a loan move for Real Madrid’s 19-year-old Brazilian forward Endrick, though they are expected to face stiff competition from Valencia and Real Sociedad.
Elsewhere, Arsenal are confident they can finalise a new long-term deal with Bukayo Saka, 24, during the international break to secure the England winger’s future at the Emirates.
Liverpool continue negotiations with Ibrahima Konate, 26, over a contract extension as they look to avoid losing the French centre-back for free next summer, amid interest from Real Madrid.
