Argentina qualified for the U-20 World Cup final for the first time since 2007, following a 1-0 victory over Colombia in the semifinals on Thursday.
The Tango team owed this victory to substitute Matteo Silvetti, who scored the decisive goal in the 77th minute with a precise shot from Gianluca Prestiani.
After falling behind, Colombia suffered another blow when Jhon Renteria was sent off for a second yellow card following a strong tackle on Argentine defender Dylan Gorosito. However, this did not change the outcome, and Argentina was able to maintain the lead until the end of the match.
