Juventus have parted ways with head coach Igor Tudor following a disappointing defeat to Lazio, bringing an end to the Croatian’s brief and turbulent seven-month spell in charge.
Tudor, who succeeded Thiago Motta in March, struggled to maintain consistency, overseeing an eight-match winless streak that has left Juventus languishing in eighth place in Serie A. Sunday’s loss to Lazio marked the third consecutive defeat across all competitions, further amplifying pressure on the 43-year-old.
In a club statement, Juventus expressed gratitude to Tudor and his staff for their “professionalism and dedication” while wishing them success in their future endeavours.
The club confirmed that Massimiliano Brambilla, currently part of the youth setup, will serve as interim manager for Wednesday’s league clash with Udinese (17:30 GMT).
The Bianconeri now sit six points adrift of leaders Napoli, having failed to record a victory in their last five Serie A fixtures. Their European form has also faltered, with Juventus sitting 25th overall in the Champions League standings after collecting just two points from three matches.
Tudor’s dismissal highlights the growing urgency within Juventus to revive their domestic and continental ambitions, as the club continues to search for stability and a return to the elite standards expected in Turin.
