Manchester United and Newcastle track Anderson | Barcelona lead Greenwood pursuit | Jobe Bellingham dismisses United interest

Manchester United and Newcastle United are keeping a close eye on England midfielder Elliot Anderson, with Nottingham Forest valuing the 22-year-old between £100m and £120m.

Barcelona have emerged as frontrunners in the race to sign Marseille’s English forward Mason Greenwood, though Tottenham and West Ham are also monitoring the 24-year-old’s situation.

Jobe Bellingham has reportedly ruled out any move to Manchester United, despite the club exploring a potential loan approach for the 20-year-old Borussia Dortmund midfielder.

United are prepared to reject any January transfer requests from Kobbie Mainoo, 20, and Joshua Zirkzee, 24, as the club views both players as integral to their long-term plans.

Meanwhile, Napoli have been given the green light by Manchester United to trigger their purchase obligation for Denmark striker Rasmus Hojlund, 22, in the upcoming window.

West Ham United have identified Lille’s Brazilian defender Alexsandro, 26, as their top target for January, with the French club valuing him at around £26m.

Vinicius Jr, 25, is said to be seriously contemplating an exit from Real Madrid after expressing frustration towards manager Xabi Alonso, who substituted him late in Sunday’s El Clasico victory.

Juventus have opened talks with former Napoli and Italy manager Luciano Spalletti, 66, as a potential successor to Igor Tudor, who was dismissed earlier this week.

Tottenham, Arsenal, and Newcastle are all keeping tabs on Porto’s Spanish striker Samu Aghehowa, 21.
