Brighton target Real Madrid forward Gonzalo Garcia, Manchester United face renewed competition for Kevin Filling, Liverpool push ahead for Antoine Semenyo, and AC Milan move for West Ham striker Niclas Füllkrug.

Brighton are exploring a January loan move for Real Madrid’s 21-year-old Spanish striker Gonzalo Garcia, with Leeds United and Sunderland also monitoring the situation.

Manchester United have been joined by Borussia Dortmund in the pursuit of 16-year-old Swedish forward Kevin Filling from AIK Stockholm.

Liverpool currently lead the chase for Bournemouth and Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo, 25, though Tottenham Hotspur remain in contention.

United manager Ruben Amorim is an admirer of Semenyo, but activating his £65m release clause at Bournemouth is considered unlikely in January.

AC Milan have expressed interest in Germany striker Niclas Füllkrug, 32, who has been informed he may leave West Ham this winter.

Manchester United rejected Chelsea’s proposal to include Belgian midfielder Romeo Lavia, 21, or French forward Christopher Nkunku, 28, in the deal that brought 21-year-old Argentina winger Alejandro Garnacho to Stamford Bridge.
