Bayern Munich wrapped up their Bundesliga campaign for 2025 in emphatic fashion with a 4-0 victory over Heidenheim, strengthening their grip on top spot.
First-half strikes from Josip Stanisic and Michael Olise put Vincent Kompany’s side firmly in control, with both goals coming from close range as Bayern dominated proceedings.
The visitors pressed on late in the match, and Luis Díaz added a third in the 86th minute by nodding in Stanisic’s cross.
Harry Kane then capped the performance in stoppage time, calmly placing his finish into the bottom corner.
Kane wore the captain’s armband with regular skipper Manuel Neuer sidelined by a hamstring injury, underlining his growing influence in the side.
The result leaves Bayern nine points clear of Borussia Dortmund at the top of the table, the second-largest lead ever recorded at this point of a Bundesliga season.
It also marks a historic milestone, with Bayern having led the league for an entire calendar year for the first time.
