Wolves midfielder Joao Gomes is attracting interest from Atletico Madrid, while Everton and Nottingham Forest are pursuing a move for striker Youssef En-Nesyri.

Atletico Madrid are targeting Wolves’ Brazilian midfielder Joao Gomes, 24, following the sale of England international Conor Gallagher to Tottenham earlier this week.

Meanwhile, Wolves’ Zimbabwe international midfielder Marshall Munetsi, 29, is set to join Paris FC on loan.

Everton have submitted a formal offer to Turkish side Fenerbahce for Morocco striker Youssef En-Nesyri, 28. Talks are ongoing over an initial loan deal that includes a £17m option to buy.

Nottingham Forest also remain interested in En-Nesyri, although Fenerbahce believe the player favours a move to Everton.

Everton are additionally exploring a deal for striker Callum Wilson, 33, who is currently in discussions over the termination of his contract with West Ham.

The Toffees, along with Werder Bremen and Ajax, are monitoring Ukraine right-back Yukhym Konoplya. The 26-year-old’s contract with Shakhtar Donetsk expires this summer.

West Ham will hold an internal meeting with shareholders this weekend to consider reducing the asking price for midfielder Lucas Paqueta, 28, who is attracting interest from Flamengo in Brazil.

Santos defender Souza, 19, is expected to undergo a medical with Tottenham in London on Thursday as Spurs close in on a £13m deal for the Brazilian left-back.

Brentford are closing in on a £15.6m agreement to sign Lazio and Italy forward Matteo Cancellieri, 23.

Crystal Palace are in discussions with Ligue 1 side Angers over French forward Sidiki Cherif. The 19-year-old, who can operate centrally or out wide, has two and a half years remaining on his contract.

Roma will pay a £2m loan fee to sign Aston Villa forward Donyell Malen, 26, with the agreement including a £25m option to make the move permanent.

Bournemouth are aware they could face a battle to retain midfielder Alex Scott, 22, amid interest from Manchester United, Manchester City, Aston Villa and Newcastle United.

Derby County are leading the race to sign Rangers’ highly rated 16-year-old Scottish forward Chris Condy, who has scored more than 20 goals for the club’s youth sides since arriving from Hamilton last summer.

Sheffield United have made enquiries about a potential loan move for Aston Villa midfielder Ross Barkley, 32.

Oxford United are pushing to sign Nottingham Forest’s Northern Ireland midfielder Jamie McDonnell, 21, in a deal valued at around £1m.

Millwall are keen on a loan move for Sunderland and former England Under-21 goalkeeper Anthony Patterson, 25.

Bristol City forward Harry Cornick, 30, is set to join League One side Stevenage on loan for the remainder of the season.

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Owen Goodman, 22, is also expected to complete a loan move to League One outfit Barnsley on Thursday.
