Harry Wilson struck a sensational stoppage-time free-kick as Fulham came from behind to secure a dramatic victory over Brighton at Craven Cottage.
The visitors had taken the lead through Yasin Ayari’s brilliant first-half strike, but Fulham responded after the break.
Substitute Samuel Chukwueze levelled the match before Wilson delivered the decisive moment in the 92nd minute to complete the turnaround.
Brighton looked in control midway through the first half when Ayari collected the ball on the left, cut inside and unleashed a powerful shot from the edge of the area that flew past Bernd Leno.
The Seagulls nearly doubled their advantage moments later, with Leno denying Kaoru Mitoma before Timothy Castagne cleared Ferdi Kadioglu’s rebound header off the line.
Fulham grew into the game after the interval and found an equaliser when Chukwueze raced onto Joachim Andersen’s long pass and calmly finished past Bart Verbruggen.
Brighton briefly thought they had regained the lead soon after, but Danny Welbeck’s goal was ruled out for offside by VAR, and the striker later saw a header tipped over the bar.
As the match headed toward a draw, Fulham found a late moment of magic.
Wilson curled a superb free-kick from 25 yards beyond Verbruggen after a foul on Josh King, sending the home crowd into celebration and securing all three points.
The win lifts Fulham to seventh place in the Premier League with 34 points, while Brighton remain 12th, four points behind.
After a disappointing defeat at Leeds ended their unbeaten run, Marco Silva’s side responded with resilience and belief.
Chukwueze’s equaliser underlined Fulham’s strength in depth, continuing their impressive record of goal contributions from substitutes this season.
Wilson’s late winner capped a confident comeback and provided a timely boost ahead of their clash with Manchester United.
Brighton were left frustrated after failing to convert their dominance into victory.
Despite creating several clear chances and coming close on multiple occasions, they could not extend their lead.
Fulham, by contrast, made the most of their opportunities, turning a narrow deficit into a memorable win and leaving Fabian Hürzeler’s side stunned.
