Brighton have rejected an approach from Nottingham Forest for 34-year-old England centre-back Lewis Dunk.

Chelsea view 23-year-old playmaker Cole Palmer as “untouchable” despite reported interest from Manchester United, with the England international—who is under contract until 2033—considered central to the club’s long-term plans.

However, Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling is expected to leave before the winter transfer window closes, with talks ongoing between all parties to facilitate an exit for the 31-year-old former England international.

West Ham are exploring loan moves for Tottenham’s 22-year-old Czech goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky and Chelsea’s 27-year-old French defender Axel Disasi, although the Hammers would need to send 27-year-old Brazilian defender Igor Julio back to Brighton to help complete both deals.

Representatives of Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana, 29, who is currently on loan at Trabzonspor, have held discussions over a potential summer return to his former club Inter Milan.

Wolves are in discussions over a loan move for 25-year-old England midfielder Angel Gomes from French side Marseille.

Auxerre striker Lassine Sinayoko is also on Wolves’ radar, with Championship clubs Coventry City and Middlesbrough monitoring the situation of the 26-year-old Mali international.

Burnley are in talks with West Ham regarding a loan move for 31-year-old English midfielder James Ward-Prowse.

Sunderland have downplayed reports suggesting 20-year-old Spanish forward Eliezer Mayenda could be allowed to join Paris FC.
