Manchester United are targeting West Ham’s Mateus Fernandes and Atalanta’s Ederson, while Tottenham cool their interest in Paulo Dybala and Nottingham Forest line up a move for Middlesbrough’s Hayden Hackney.

Manchester United have made enquiries over a deal for West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes, with Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain also keeping tabs on the 21-year-old Portugal international, who is valued at around £80m.

United are also in advanced negotiations with Atalanta regarding Brazilian midfielder Ederson, 26, although the two clubs remain apart in their valuation of the player.

Tottenham have ended their pursuit of Roma forward Paulo Dybala, with the 32-year-old Argentina World Cup winner no longer considered a priority target.

Nottingham Forest are planning an approach for Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney, with the 23-year-old Englishman attracting growing Premier League interest.

Fenerbahce are keeping a close watch on France international Randal Kolo Muani, 27, who is currently on loan at Tottenham from Paris Saint-Germain.

Tottenham captain Cristian Romero, 28, is reportedly open to a reunion with fellow Argentine Diego Simeone at Atletico Madrid.
