Bournemouth's Alex Scott Rejects New Contract as Arsenal and Manchester United Circle

Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has rejected a new contract offer, with several Premier League giants monitoring the England Under-21 international's situation.

The Cherries have made securing Scott's long-term future one of their top priorities this summer, but negotiations have stalled and no agreement has been reached.

The 22-year-old is attracting strong interest from Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Chelsea, with competition expected to intensify during the transfer window.

BBC Sport reported in June that Bournemouth rejected an approach from Arsenal for the highly-rated midfielder.

Scott joined Bournemouth from Bristol City in 2023 in a deal worth £25 million and still has two years remaining on his current contract.

The midfielder earned his first senior England call-up last November and was included in Thomas Tuchel's extended pre-World Cup training camp in Florida. However, he is still awaiting his senior international debut.
