AC Milan and PUMA have officially unveiled the club’s 2026/27 Third Kit, featuring a bold black design with fluorescent red detailing that reacts to UV light.
The new jersey offers a modern interpretation of AC Milan’s iconic Rossoneri identity, combining a dominant black base with vivid fluorescent red accents. The design gives the club’s traditional red greater prominence and intensity while remaining firmly connected to Milan’s historic colours.
One of the kit’s standout features is its UV-reactive detailing, which changes appearance depending on the lighting. Built around the concept “Rossoneri in a new light,” the shirt is designed to bridge football and contemporary street culture, making it suitable both on and off the pitch.
Dominique Gathier, PUMA VP Teamsport, said the challenge was to evolve one of football’s most recognisable identities without losing what makes it meaningful to supporters.
“Rossonero is one of the most recognizable identities in world football. AC Milan’s supporters have seen it thousands of times, and it means everything to them,” Gathier said.
He added that PUMA approached the design with restraint, focusing on taking the elements that matter most to Milan supporters and presenting them in a fresh way.
AC Milan Chief Revenue Officer Maikel Oettle said the Third Kit provides the club with an opportunity to innovate while retaining its unmistakable identity.
“AC Milan tells its own story through what it stands for, and the Rossoneri colours are its most immediate expression,” Oettle said.
He added that the jersey takes Milan’s traditional colours into new territory, bringing together football and contemporary culture while allowing the club to evolve without losing its identity.
The Authentic version of the 2026/27 AC Milan Third Kit is manufactured using PUMA’s lightweight ULTRAWEAVE fabric and incorporates dryCELL and ThermoAdapt technologies to help manage sweat and regulate body temperature.
The Replica jersey, meanwhile, is produced using PUMA’s RE technology and contains 95% recycled polyester made from textile waste.
The unveiling coincides with AC Milan’s Pre-Season Tour stop in Indonesia, which is home to one of the club’s largest and most passionate international supporter communities.
PUMA and AC Milan will host a free public event at Sparks, Senayan Park in Jakarta on 7 August. The event will feature an experience zone with games and activities, a PUMA pop-up store and a dedicated Meet & Greet with AC Milan players.
The new kit will make its on-pitch debut on 8 August, when AC Milan face Chelsea at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta.
