Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal worth at least £22m to sign Crystal Palace full-back Daniel Munoz.
The Colombia international has been given permission to undergo a medical ahead of completing his move to the City Ground.
The transfer will reunite the 30-year-old with Forest manager Oliver Glasner, who previously worked with Munoz during his time in charge of Crystal Palace.
Negotiations between the two clubs have been ongoing for several days but progressed significantly following Palace's 4-1 defeat by Manchester City on Friday.
Munoz joined Palace from Belgian club Genk in 2024 and established himself as an important member of the Eagles' squad.
He played a significant role in the club's historic successes in both the FA Cup and Europa Conference League under Glasner.
The defender has made 109 appearances for Palace, scoring 11 goals, and has just under two years remaining on his contract.
Palace are willing to allow Munoz to leave this summer, having already strengthened in his position with the signing of Israel international Anan Khalaili from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise.
Khalaili is expected to replace Munoz in Pierre Sage's side should the Colombian complete his move to Forest.
Munoz featured in Palace's opening 2-0 Premier League defeat at Everton but remained an unused substitute during Friday's loss to Manchester City.
Forest, meanwhile, are continuing to pursue further reinforcements before the transfer window closes.
They have also submitted an ambitious offer worth £40m, potentially including a future sell-on clause, for Everton teenage midfielder Harrison Armstrong.
